Exclusive 4-minute opening sequence from ‘THE KINGDOM’

Yahoo! movies now has an exclusive 4-minute clip of the opening sequence from the movie “The Kingdom”. It’s been showing in the U.S since the last weekend and is number 2 at the box office. It releases I believe in the middle east this weekend.

This 4-minute opening sequence examines the history of U.S – Saudi relationship since 1932.

Exclusive 4-minute opening sequence from ‘THE KINGDOM’

The keyword in this clip is “Wahabis”, not muslims, not arabs.

I haven’t seen this movie yet, I will try to catch it probably this weekend or maybe next weekend as it is Eid. I just fried my brain watching all the 14 clips yahoo has on it’s website.

One stupid thing I want to mention here is that there is this “Keys To The Kingdom” sweepstakes and it gives you the chance to win a trip to Dubai. I mean c’mon, what the hell does Dubai have to do with “The Kingdom”…. maybe because they wouldn’t allow a trip to the real Kingdom in question here?

Anywayz, if you really wanna see Dubai, the so-called kingdom, enter here. I don’t think I am going to enter, I receive enough junk mails, thank you !

New Eid Mubarak Stamp Released by USPS

Eid Muabarak Stamp 2007

USPS just announced the release of new Eid Mubarak stamp for 2007. Eid is less then 2 weeks away so the timing seems to be perfect. I can’t recall how the previous Eid Muabarak stamp looked like but I am darn sure it was very similar to this one except for the 41 cents on the top right. I wonder why it is crossed?

You can buy this stamp from the USPS store.

Buy some, send some and save some, your grand kids will be able to sell these on ebay for a little more than 41 cents 100 years from now….
