Something about me, in third person…
This blog is authored by Zahid, a 28 year old resident of Santa Clara, CA. He was born in Karachi, Pakistan and grew up in Dubai, U.A.E. He feels awkward mentioning that he is from Pakistan because he has no idea what being Pakistani means. Maybe it’s just rooting for the Cricket team or watching Ankahi when feeling nostalgic. Not to mention, random patriotism bursts while listening to “Jazbe-e-Junoon.”
He speaks fluent English (FOB accent), Urdu (bhai accent), Bollywood (spoken among expatriates in Dubai) and Gujrati (limited to Came Cho and Aao Jo).
Zahid started blogging in 2006 and now can’t live without blogging. He is just a geek who expresses his views by blogging. He is not trying to change the world, he is just changing his world. He is interested in many things and can talk about most issues and pretend to be a “know-it-all.” They say, fake it until you make it. Even if they don’t, he does.
He crunches numbers for living but believes that numbers are nonsensical and require an artist to paint the big picture. In the spirit of artistry, he works at an Art University as an Accountant.
