Even before the siege was completely over, Pakistan was being blamed as the perpetrator of the entire Mumbai siege. The most famous line that is being quoted all over the news is “elements in Pakistan” when referring to where exactly the terrorists come from.
I have few reasons why Pakistani Govt. cannot be involved:
1- Pakistan is currently trying its best to combat terrorism on its western border with Afghanistan; it doesn’t really want Indian army on its eastern border.
2 -The tactic used in the Mumbai siege is far different from what is usually used by “elements in Pakistan”; they are more into suicide bombings.
3- Pakistan and India were taking giant steps towards each other and trying to have peace talks.
4- Pakistan government recently referred to Freedom Fighters in the disputed region of Kashmir as terrorists.
I agree that terrorists might have been helped from inside Pakistan but it was in no way sponsored or funded by the Pakistani government. Pakistan already has a big problem in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) where it is unable to deal with tribal leaders and thus is asking Americans to use drones to kill terrorists in that area at the expense of innocent women and children. There are “elements” in Pakistan that are not in Pakistan’s control for which I don’t think Pakistan should be blamed because these “elements” are also responsible for the attacks that happen in Pakistan, like the recent one in Islamabad.
Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals, that doesn’t mean it was sponsored by the Saudi government. A terrorist will always have some kind of earthly affiliations; a country, a group, a religion, an ideology etc.
“The only gunman captured after the 60-hour terrorist siege of Mumbai said he belonged to a Pakistani militant group with links to the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir”
Associated Press
There is no mention of Lashkar-e-Taiba who the Indian officials have been blaming, that organization has been banned in Pakistan since 2002. Lashkar-e-Taiba has been involved in other attacks in India and is usually blamed because it is easier to blame an organization who might have supporters in Pakistan than it is to blame the Pakistani government. First blame a banned organization in Pakistan and then move on up to the Government, how convenient.
One day we will all find out who is to blame for this kind of massive siege. Just so that you know… attackers memorized Mumbai roads using Google Earth maps, used Blackberry to log onto the Internet to monitor how the world was reacting, were military trained and were different in their tactics as well as the carnage they caused.

Now-a-days terrorism is been exploiting the country. We should take necessary steps to prevent it.
This world is a mess! Everything is upside down. Can’t get anything for free it al cost’s money
