Hotmail won’t work with Chrome?

I just downloaded Google’s Chrome web browser and think it’s pretty cool. It has a slick desgin and pages seem to load way faster than Internet Explorer.

I tried logging into my Hotmail account which is my primary email account and saw this message:

Hotmail wants me to upgrade my web browser and I don’t see a reason why it won’t work with Chrome. I did go ahead and didn’t face any problems. I wasn’t that pissed off at Microsoft because it does recommend I use Firefox or Safari which are not Microsoft products.

Having used internet explorer for years I think it is about time I switched to Chrome. I never liked Firefox I don’t know why and Safari is good on the iPhone and I rather keep it that way than try it on my PC.

Did I mention I bought iPhone 3G 8gb today? :)

I had similar experiences (a warning to upgrade my browser, then not being able to compose any emails, now Hotmail pages (including the ‘sign on’ page won’t even load at all.
