This factor could prove even more dangerous for the republicans in presidential elections. I am not really sure if there will be any major strategy and policy change in the American politics after this power shift. We have to wait and see how bush handles the remaining years of his presidency. Thats true… it would have helped him in elections and by not doing so before the elections, he has made it clear to the world that he has so far failed in Iraq.
